Terms of Use

Educational purpose
Nursing Copilot is an educational clinical-reasoning simulator. By using it you agree to these terms. It exists to help you practise thinking through simulated patient situations before they count.
Not medical advice
Nursing Copilot does not provide medical advice and must not be used to make decisions about real patients. It does not replace nursing school instruction or faculty supervision, your institution's policies and protocols, licensed clinical judgment, or emergency services. In an emergency, contact your institution's emergency response or local emergency number.
Simulated patients only
Every patient in the app is fictional. Do not enter names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, addresses, or other identifying information from real patients into any field.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for how you use the app and for complying with your school's, employer's, and licensing body's rules. Coaching and feedback in the app are practice, not authorization to act.
Beta limitations
This is an early beta. Features may change or be removed, interruptions and errors may occur, and your data is stored on your own device. Data may be lost and may not be recoverable, and we cannot restore it for you.
Clinical content
Scenarios and coaching are written for education. They may not reflect every institution's policy, every accepted approach, or every real patient situation, and clinical practice changes over time. Always defer to your institution's current policy and your instructors.
No guaranteed outcomes
Using Nursing Copilot does not guarantee any exam result, academic result, clinical performance, or employment outcome. It is not accredited and does not provide continuing education credit.
Prohibited use
Do not use Nursing Copilot for real-time patient care decisions, for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that attempts to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or abuse the service or interfere with other users.
Intellectual property
The Nursing Copilot name, software, scenario content, coaching content, and design are owned by us or our licensors, and are provided for your personal educational use. Do not copy, resell, or redistribute them without permission.
Text you write during a simulation remains yours. We only process it as needed to run the app on your device and to give you coaching and a debrief.
Feedback
You may send feedback and bug reports, and we may use them to improve the product. Sending feedback is voluntary and does not transfer ownership of anything else you have created.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the beta at any time, and we do not promise the service will always be available or error-free.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that content is complete, current, or suitable for any particular clinical situation.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, arising from your use of this beta educational tool. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Access
There are no user accounts in this beta, so there is nothing for us to close. We may limit or block access where it is necessary to protect the service or comply with the law.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the beta develops; the date at the top reflects the latest version. This page is product information for a beta, not individualized legal advice, and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer.
Contact
A support email address has not been published for this beta yet. Until it is, use the "Report an issue" link inside the app to reach us.
